A paid patient is a US patient who pays a 50% deposit through Stripe in the RatedDocs app; one or two arches count, and a later cancellation still counts. The 90 days start after your verification. Guarantee requires meeting the dentist obligations (show up early, professional, prepared, estimate within 24 hours). If fewer than 3, the annual fee is refunded in full.

How does the guarantee work?
A paid patient is a US patient who pays a 50% deposit through Stripe in the app. One or two arches count, and a later cancellation still counts. The 90 days start after your verification. Fewer than 3 in 90 days: your annual fee is refunded in full.
What are my obligations?
Show up to consultations early, look professional, be prepared, and give the patient an estimate within 24 hours. We measure this in the admin dashboard: response time, consultation transcripts and in-call screenshots.
Are these patients qualified, or price shoppers?
Patients see your own pricing and an itemized estimate before they book, so they arrive knowing what treatment costs with you. The consultation is to confirm they are comfortable with you, not to negotiate.
What if the patient tries to haggle in the chair?
The patient accepts your estimate in the app before travelling. After your in-person exam you confirm the final estimate, protected by a 15% margin over the agreed estimate, and the patient approves it in the app.
Can clinics buy higher rankings or flood reviews?
No. Only patients who book and pay through the app can leave a review, and profiles are ranked per verified dentist, not by who pays more.
Is the fee per dentist or per clinic?
The membership is held by the coordinating dentist. Premium includes 5 verified dentists (you plus up to 4 more), so a multi-dentist team is covered.
I work with a separate surgeon. Can we join?
Yes. The coordinating dentist (for example, the restorative or prosthetic dentist) pays, and the separate surgeon is verified too, as one of your included dentists.
