What RatedDocs is

RatedDocs reviews individual dentists against six required verification checks. Dentists who complete all required checks may be marked Verified. Only dentists who pass all six checks receive the RatedDocs Verified badge. Other catalog profiles are clearly marked as not yet verified. Payment never purchases verification. We also hold your payment after a written quote until the exam is finished. We are not your dentist. We do not treat you, diagnose you, or promise a result.

What Verified means

Verified means the six public verification requirements were satisfied: Active Professional Licence, Sterilization Protocols, Procedure-Specific Education, Authenticated Before-and-After Cases, Material & Brand Transparency, and Warranty Documentation. RatedDocs personally reviewed the evidence — it is not a government-board decision or a Canadian licence. It is evidence and data review, not regulatory accreditation, certification of competence, or a prediction of treatment outcome. The check date is on the dentist’s profile.

Who pays us

Membership pays for evidence review. Payment never purchases verification, badge status, ranking, or a particular result. Only dentists who pass all six checks receive the RatedDocs Verified badge. Other catalog profiles are clearly marked as not yet verified.

Dentist membership

Dentist membership pays for evidence review and platform maintenance. Plans are Basic, Pro and Premium, monthly or annual, from $149/month billed annually ($1,788 USD/year). Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial (card required); your selected plan begins billing when the trial ends unless you cancel, even before verification is complete. 14 days for $0. Treatment payments and commission on treatment already paid through RatedDocs are not refunded. Outside that guarantee, the membership fee is non-refundable except under the Patient Guarantee; not passing verification does not create a separate refund right.

Video consultation

A 15-minute video consultation is required before any payment is held. There is currently no separate consultation fee ($0 USD). That visit is with the dentist, not with RatedDocs.

How payment is held

After you agree to a written quote, we set that amount aside. It is released after the dentist finishes the in-person exam — not after a clinical result. If the exam quote is more than 15% above the first written quote, the whole hold comes back and RatedDocs keeps $0.

Late cancellation

If you cancel within 48 hours of the travel date on the booking, 10% of the hold is not returned. The dentist is not paid.

If you are hurt

A claim against the dentist is under the law of the country where they treated you. RatedDocs does not cover malpractice and does not sit in the chair. We decide the hold (the clock, the 15% cap, who cancelled, whether the exam finished). We do not decide the smile.

Reviews

Reviews publish only after a finished booking. We do not sell rank.
