SMS Program Disclosure
RatedDocs Patient Updates · Last updated: 22 September 2026
Who sends these messages
RatedDocs, a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada, operating at www.rateddocs.com and app.rateddocs.com. RatedDocs independently verifies individual dentists and matches patients with verified dentists abroad.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number on a RatedDocs web form and checking the SMS consent box before submitting. The box is unchecked by default and is never required — the form works, and RatedDocs works, without it. We record the date, time, IP address and page URL of every opt-in.
The consent box reads:
I agree to receive text messages from RatedDocs at the mobile number provided, including messages about my request, clinic matches, appointments and reminders. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.

What we send
Messages relate to the request you submitted:
- — Confirmation that we received your request.
- — Follow-up questions needed to complete your treatment profile.
- — Notice that verified dentist options or a treatment estimate are ready in your account.
- — Consultation scheduling, confirmations and reminders.
- — Occasional service updates about your request.
Text messages are for logistics and account notifications. Clinical information stays inside your account and your consultation with the treating dentist. RatedDocs does not provide medical or dental advice by text message.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your request, typically 2 to 8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. RatedDocs does not charge for text messages; your mobile carrier may.
How to stop, and how to get help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@rateddocs.com. Opting out of texts does not affect your RatedDocs account or any request already in progress.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
